The TURGA K-500 Switch Motor is a railway signaling field device developed through fully original design efforts by Turga Technology engineering teams. It provides high efficiency and safety in railway systems with hydraulic drive, adjustable pushing and pulling force, strong holding capability, and separated electrical and mechanical compartments.
When used with reverse throw, locking the open switch blade with 9 kN and the closed switch blade with 30 kN is introduced for the first time in the Turga K-500 model.
The separation of electrical and mechanical compartments allows maintenance and repair under adverse environmental conditions while increasing worker safety.
In all cases, the system does not send a signal unless the switch blade is in full contact with the stock rail, providing a high level of safety.
